In this role, you will play a critical part in identifying statistical trends and performance metrics to enhance our Quality Control division and support the achievement of our organizational objectives. Job Overview The Quality Control Standards Data Analyst will assist in utilizing data to create, present, and make recommendations for novel ideas and initiatives, as well as perform root cause analysis to mitigate the risk of non-compliance through process improvements. These enhancements will support blithequark's goals, including maintaining low costs, modernizing operations, and improving compliance, thereby providing a competitive advantage. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with stakeholders across the organization to drive business outcomes and make a meaningful impact. Key Responsibilities Perform and assist others in the Quality Control team in timely data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data elements. Assist in creating and communicating results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical stakeholders and leaders. Assist in analyzing ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging support issues and provide insightful responses to enable senior management to make informed business decisions while balancing existing project commitments. Presentation of insights, trends, and potential recommendations using data visualization tools to support the relevant aspects of the analysis and facilitate stakeholder understanding. Assist in creating and distributing specific queries to pull and organize data from various sources, establishing the frequency, and validating the necessity of the data requirements. Identify irregularities in processes through audits and convey findings to the team. Evaluate the effectiveness of processes and procedures by monitoring for trends and errors. Ensure that a compliance mindset is at the center of every decision. May perform other work duties as directed by the Team Leader. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will possess a strong ability to collect, organize, analyze critical amounts of data with attention to detail and accuracy. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to effectively listen to, understand, and convey ideas and present findings to groups of varying audiences. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required, and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, and QuickBase is preferred. Preferred Qualifications Past internship, capstone projects, and research coursework are preferred. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and be an independent thinker. Past internship experience in a related field is preferred. Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately. Ability to plan and support large business initiatives.
