Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Program Manager, Worksite Strategy to join our team. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for directing and managing large, complex multi-year projects with budgets of up to $5M. You will oversee projects involving large cross-functional teams and provide leadership and vision to program resources and stakeholders. This is a highly visible role that requires strong project management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence and advise senior leaders across the organization. Key Responsibilities Accountable for the leadership, management, and direction of large and complex projects with budgets of up to $5M Serve as a recognized expert and advisor across the organization, providing guidance and recommendations to senior leaders Provide leadership and vision to program resources and stakeholders, demonstrating how to effectively execute and deliver on strategy Maintain an observant view of the organization and a general view of each project to ensure convergence on objectives Lead multiple projects and is highly effective at resource planning and engagement of resource and vendor management Define program charters, scope, objectives, success metrics, and key milestones Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and balance business needs versus technical constraints Effectively coordinate project implementations across teams using different approaches, developing and managing communication plans Provide continuous alignment of program scope with business objectives and make recommendations to modify programs and projects to enhance effectiveness Develop and lead executive-level steering committees, resulting in significant influence and impact on the CNO enterprise Direct internal/external consultants to upgrade, re-build, and/or re-design programs using innovative business solutions Establish and facilitate appropriate governance frameworks, including steering committees, change control, prioritization, escalation, and issue resolution processes Negotiate and deliver resource commitments between departments and teams Conduct complex process mappings, recommend and execute process improvements, and manage Agile/sprint-based implementations Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Management, Operations, or a related field, or 8 years of equivalent work experience 10+ years of related experience, with proven project management experience on large and complex projects Master multiple project management methodologies, including Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, and Waterfall Apply in-depth expertise of project management principles across Operations and other CNO functions Utilize solid knowledge of best practices and industry standards to ensure optimal program performance and end results Solve complex operational problems by recommending solutions and best practices Communicate effectively with excellent verbal and written skills to influence a wide range of internal audiences across the organization Lead and coach others with strong ability Demonstrate exceptional project management skills by remaining flexible to changing priorities and being open to new ideas Preferred Qualifications Experience with worksite benefits, health care industry programs, benefits administration technology, or voluntary insurance products PMP, Lean, Six Sigma Green Belt, and/or Agile/Scrum Master certifications Strong knowledge and experience with Innotas/Project Server or similar tools Employ strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and other business-related software Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Optavise and CNO Financial Group, we are committed to helping our associates grow and develop their skills. Compensation, Perks, and Benefits We offer a competitive salary range of $116,200 - $174,400 per year, depending on experience and location.
