Overview: Shaping Cyber Risk Reporting and Decision-Making As a Principal of Cyber Risk Reporting, you will play a pivotal role in leading the development of comprehensive reports and narratives around our cyber risk posture. You will collaborate with subject matter experts across the bank to drive effective risk reporting and decision-making at the executive level. This individual contributor role is crucial in coordinating, developing, enhancing, and managing reports presented to Management and Board Committees. Key Responsibilities: Driving Excellence in Cyber Risk Reporting Report Identification - Determine cyber risk reporting needs and develop strategies to achieve company and department goals, ensuring alignment with our overall risk management objectives. Report Development - Develop executive reports for Management and Board Committees, providing clear and actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making. Report Process Management - Provide expert support for risk reporting activities, responding to inquiries, identifying issues, and continuously improving risk reporting processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Handle escalated matters that arise during daily operations, providing guidance to lower-level business analysts and leading workflow to ensure timely and high-quality outcomes. Essential Qualifications: Foundation for Success To be considered for this role, you must have: A Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of experience in Risk Reporting or Risk Management, or a High School Diploma or GED and 14 years of experience in Risk Reporting or Risk Management. A strong background in risk reporting, with a proven track record of developing and delivering high-quality reports to senior management and executives. Preferred Qualifications: Enhancing Your Candidacy To stand out as a candidate, you should have: Significant experience designing and delivering management and board reports at a Large Financial Institution, with a deep understanding of the complexities and nuances of cyber risk reporting. Substantial 1st, 2nd, or 3rd line experience in Risk Management or Cybersecurity, providing a strong foundation in risk management principles and practices. Exceptional skills in gathering and analyzing data/information to present clear, actionable insights to senior management and executives, driving informed decision-making. Extremely proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, with the ability to create visually engaging and impactful presentations. Demonstrated independence and high motivation, with a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality results. Excellent verbal presentation and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently interact at all levels of the organization. Outstanding problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to effectively respond to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines. The ability to provide in-depth analysis of complex problems and quickly make decisions, driving timely and effective risk reporting. A proven track record of meeting deadlines and driving others to provide timely updates necessary for effective risk reporting.
