Job Summary As a Principal Data Analysis Professional at blithequark, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, identifying trends, and providing insights that inform business decisions. Key Responsibilities Work directly with the client community and financial stakeholders to define and document data requirements for data integration and business intelligence reporting Determine and document data mapping rules for development of medium to high complexity data between applications Adhere to and promote the use of data governance standards Support data selection, extraction, and cleansing for ingestion into the IT Financial Management application, including data warehouse and data lakes Create and maintain processes, tools, and ongoing support designs and processes Extract and analyze data from specific applications, systems, and/or databases to create reports and provide recommendations based on the analysis of the data Research and resolve data issues across platforms and applications, including discrepancies of definition, format, and functionality Qualifications and Experience To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong educational foundation in a relevant field, such as business, information systems, engineering, mathematics, or sciences. A bachelor's degree is preferred, and a data analysis nanodegree or equivalent experience is also acceptable. Typically, this role requires 8-10 years of experience in a technical profession, with a strong background in data analysis and a proven track record of success.
