About the Role As a Principal AI Solutions Development Engineer at blithequark, you will be responsible for designing and developing solutions based on Generative AI, leveraging your expertise in foundation, network, and storage infrastructure environments. Key Responsibilities Review requirements and develop test plans based on Generative AI solution specifications and Product Manager's Product Requirements Report. Plan, deploy, and test AI jobs running on the Generative AI environment; investigate and resolve issues, lead technical reviews of all designs, and consistently deliver project status to all relevant stakeholders. Review and analyze internal and external engineering-specific documentation related to projects; communicate findings to peers and leaders to improve internal processes and drive ideas to streamline future development work. Utilize your expertise to aid in the development of sales enablement, customer, and partner content, such as sizing guides, design guides, technical white papers, performance guides, and technical blogs. Essential Qualifications 5+ years of industry experience; experience developing and delivering end-to-end (infrastructure to platform to application to deployment to use cases) solutions is highly desired. Knowledge in infrastructure setup and the hardware ecosystem, including servers, storage, and networking (IP addressing, subnets, VLANs, etc.). Strong understanding of Linux-based operating systems (installation and configuration) and cluster management; ability to deploy and manage containers, Kubernetes, and Slurm clusters. Familiarity with AI technologies, including Generative/Cognitive AI frameworks/models, Machine Learning/Deep Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI platforms/libraries (e.g., Hugging Face, TensorFlow), and Open-Source ML frameworks (PyTorch). Excellent collaboration, communication, and presentation skills; ability to work with all levels of the organization and effectively communicate status of development work to relevant stakeholders in a consistent and timely manner. Preferred Qualifications Degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Physical Sciences, etc.).
