Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our team at arenaflex. As a Physician Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work independently, with the support of our clinical care team, to provide comprehensive patient care to your community. You will be responsible for delivering essential and family-centered care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of medical issues, health counseling, and behavior anticipating for our patients. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive, evidence-based care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of medical issues, health counseling, and behavior anticipating for our patients. Perform administrative duties, including opening/closing the facility, inventory management, patient flow, insurance verification, and payment collection, and maintaining a clean environment. Be responsible for handling patient appointments and performing steering assessments to ensure positive patient health outcomes. Perform duties, including consulting with patients about healthy lifestyle choices, completing diagnostic tests to help diagnose and treat patients for injuries or illnesses, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care. Encourage patients to become active participants in their healthcare and well-being through services like health screenings, social health, and wellness, and chronic condition management. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Provide comprehensive, evidence-based care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of medical issues, health counseling, and behavior anticipating for our patients. Order and administer vaccinations and injections (including but not limited to COVID-19, flu, TB, and Depo) and provide evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education. Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent. Complete the DOT certification test within 30 days of employment. Depending on the market, the ability to be proficient in both speaking and writing in additional languages, not limited to but including Spanish. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including but not limited to performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol requires. Preferred Qualifications The following qualifications are preferred but not required: If under 1 year of work experience as a licensed provider, previous student precepting rotation with arenaflex is preferred but entirely not necessary. Graduate degree-level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Accreditation and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Registered Nurse role. Or, in select states, a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (or other health-related Master's degree or equivalent experience along with a Bachelor's degree in science in Physician Assistant Studies) with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the role.
