Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our team at arenaflex. As a Physician Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering essential and family-confirmed care comprehensive of accurate evaluation, conclusion, treatment, management of medical issues, health counseling, and behavior anticipating our patients. You will enjoy independence in running your practice with invigorating colleagues and hierarchical support, flexibility with scheduling, and a balance between serious and fun activities. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive, evidence-based care comprehensive of accurate appraisal, determination, treatment, management of medical issues, health advising, and behavior making arrangements for our patients. Perform administrative duties to include but not limited to opening/closing the facility, stock, patient movement, checking insurance, and collecting payment, maintaining a clean environment. Be responsible for handling patient appointments and performing steering assessments to ensure positive patient health outcomes. Perform duties incorporating consulting with patients about healthy lifestyle decisions, completing diagnostic tests to help diagnose and treat patients for injuries or illnesses, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care. Encourage patients to become active participants in their healthcare and wellness through services like health screenings, social health, and health, chronic conditions management. Essential Qualifications Provide comprehensive, evidence-based care comprehensive of accurate appraisal, determination, treatment, management of medical issues, health advising, and behavior making arrangements for our patients. Order and administer vaccinations and injections (to include but not limited to COVID-19, flu, TB, and Depo) and provide evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education. Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or the equivalent. Complete the Dot certification test in no less than 30 days of employment. Depending on the market, the ability to be proficient in both speaking and writing in additional languages not limited to but including Spanish. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including but not limited to performing mouth-to-mouth and operating a Mechanical External Defibrillator (AED). Pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol requires. Preferred Qualifications If under 1 year of work experience as a licensed provider, previous student precepting rotation with arenaflex is preferred, but entirely not necessary. Education Master's degree-level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Accreditation and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role. Or in select states, a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (or other health-related Master's degree or equivalent experience along with a Bachelor's degree in science in Physician Assistant Studies) with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the role.
