About the Role of a Flexologist As a Physical Therapy Assistant and Flexologist at StretchLab, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional, one-on-one assisted stretching sessions to our clients. Your goal will be to provide a world-class experience, guiding clients through personalized stretches designed to enhance their flexibility, mobility, and strength. You will assess each client's unique needs, discuss outcome goals, and educate them on how to maintain their progress outside of our studio. Key Responsibilities: Learn and perform our proprietary 25 and 50-minute one-on-one stretch sessions, covering all major muscle groups and extremities. Customize stretch sessions based on individual client needs and goals. Assess clients' bodies, identify areas of tightness, and provide personalized recommendations for improvement. Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring every client feels valued and motivated throughout their stretching journey. Encourage clients to achieve their goals, promoting future visits and membership options. Maintain detailed client notes, book recurring appointments, and ensure the safety and satisfaction of all clients. Participate in staff meetings, educational presentations, and contribute to a positive, supportive team environment. Essential Qualifications: To succeed as a Physical Therapy Assistant and Flexologist at StretchLab, you should possess: A national certification and/or license in a relevant field such as physical therapy, chiropractic care, personal training, massage therapy, yoga instruction, or Pilates teaching. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a fitness facility, private training environment, or professional health setting. Superior communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to connect with and motivate clients of all ages and backgrounds. A passion for stretching, mobility, and flexibility, with a desire to continually learn and grow in these areas. Hands-on training and experience in anatomy, kinesiology, corrective exercise, post-rehab, and injury prevention are highly valued. The ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends.
