Job Overview and Responsibilities As a Physical Therapy Assistant and Stretch Therapist at StretchLab, you will play a vital role in delivering personalized stretching sessions and guiding group classes. Your primary responsibilities will include: Delivering one-on-one assisted stretch sessions and leading guided group stretching classes for clients Encouraging and motivating clients throughout stretch sessions to help them achieve their goals Building and retaining StretchLab membership by providing exceptional service and ensuring client satisfaction Ensuring the safety of clients by enforcing proper stretch techniques and adhering to StretchLab policies and safety rules Attending staff meetings and required educational presentations to stay updated on the latest techniques and best practices Handling member concerns and providing support as needed Assisting sales associates and the General Manager with studio tours and sales as required Maintaining a strong social media presence to promote client membership and retention Cleaning and maintaining equipment to ensure it is available for client use at all times Essential Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and requirements: A passion for boutique fitness environments and a love for stretching, mobility, and flexibility Certification or State Licensure in a relevant field, such as Massage Therapy, Personal Training, Physical Therapy, Pilates or Yoga Instruction, or Dance Instruction Experience working in a fitness or health environment, providing hands-on training and support to clients Excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to create a positive environment that welcomes all people A professional work ethic, reliability, and adherence to our attendance policies Availability to complete our comprehensive 3-day Flexologist Training Program, which includes 20 hours of online tutorials and 3 days of in-person, hands-on training Preferred Qualifications and Skills While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable: Previous experience working in a team environment and collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals Knowledge of social media platforms and experience with promoting services and engaging with clients online Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively A strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology, as well as the principles of stretching and flexibility Experience with customer service and sales, and the ability to promote StretchLab services and membership options to clients Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At StretchLab, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
