Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Phone and Chat Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Phone and Chat Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for navigating online platforms to verify the credentials of nurses after they have selected the healthcare facility they wish to work with. You will then follow up with the nurse via written message to confirm the validity of their credentials for that specific facility. Additionally, you will handle follow-up phone calls with individuals inquiring about the status of picking up shifts, providing them with timely updates and support. Key Responsibilities Manage large volumes of inbound and outbound calls in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that all interactions are handled with professionalism and courtesy. Simultaneously manage multiple chat channels, prioritizing tasks and responding to queries in a prompt and accurate manner. Follow established communication scripts when addressing different topics, adapting your approach to meet the unique needs of each customer. Identify customers' needs, clarify information, research solutions, and provide alternatives or resolutions, leveraging your technical savvy and knowledge of our systems and resources. Access company and client resources to accurately handle calls, perform data entry tasks, and demonstrate exceptional customer service skills. Navigate online platforms efficiently, working requests and records received from individuals seeking to sign up for shifts, and identifying whether they possess the necessary credentials. Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability, seamlessly transitioning between tasks without compromising efficiency or composure, and maintaining a positive and professional demeanor in all customer interactions. Be available at your desk, maintaining punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times, and be open to cross-training as requested to support the growth and development of our team. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: At least 1 year of customer service or customer support experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service and support in a fast-paced environment. 1 year of previous call center or office background experience, with a strong understanding of the principles and practices of customer service and support. Technical savvy, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems, technologies, and processes. Previous remote work from home experience is a plus, with the ability to work independently and manage your time effectively in a remote setting. Quick learner, with the ability to absorb and apply new information, and work independently with minimal supervision. Typing speed of 35 words per minute accurately, with strong phone and verbal communication skills, and active listening abilities. A background check applicable with state and federal laws is required, and you must be willing to undergo this process as a condition of employment. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience working in a healthcare or medical setting, with a strong understanding of the industry and its unique challenges and opportunities. Experience with online platforms and systems, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
