Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician and Data Entry Specialist to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be the front and center of our pharmacy operations, interacting with customers, and developing strong patient relationships. You will be responsible for using pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and provide excellent customer service. This is a full-time remote opportunity, offering a competitive salary of $75,000 per year. Key Responsibilities Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, according to state, federal, and company policies Use pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, ensure data is entered efficiently, and fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical tablets Verify medication is accurate and check for possible interactions Assist pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining work flow Model and provide a unique and delightful customer experience, engaging customers and patients by greeting them and providing assistance with services and products Resolve customer issues and answer inquiries to ensure a positive customer experience Develop strong relationships with most valuable customers Perform duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager Essential Qualifications Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico) Preferred: six months of experience in a retail environment Preferred: previous work experience with blithequark Preferred: desirable math skills to fill prescriptions accurately, including counting, measuring, and weighing medicines Preferred: good computer skills Preferred: knowledge of store inventory control Preferred: PTCB certification Skills and Competencies Excellent customer service skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and accuracy Basic math skills Good computer skills, including proficiency in pharmacy systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
