Job Summary As a remote pharmacy professional at Blithequark, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, managing pharmacy operations, and driving business results. You will work closely with our pharmacy team to ensure seamless delivery of pharmacy services, including prescription filling, patient counseling, and medication management. Your expertise and experience will help us enhance patient outcomes, improve pharmacy efficiency, and promote health and wellness in our communities. Key Responsibilities Provide patient-centered care by counseling patients on medication use, side effects, interactions, and disease management. Perform pharmacy tasks, including compounding, medication therapy management, and prescription filling. Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. Ensure pharmacy operations are conducted in accordance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Collaborate with pharmacy staff to optimize workflow, improve patient experience, and drive business results. Participate in clinical and health services, such as vaccinations, diagnostic testing, and patient outcomes management. Develop and maintain relationships with local healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Support the pharmacy manager in staff training, performance management, and talent development. Patient Experience Engage patients by greeting them, offering assistance, and resolving issues promptly. Model and promote customer service best practices to colleagues. Anticipate patient needs and proactively offer services. Participate in events that reflect the diverse communities we serve. Tasks Advise patients and answer questions regarding medication use, side effects, interactions, and disease management. Perform pharmacy tasks, including compounding, medication therapy management, and prescription filling. Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. Ensure pharmacy operations are conducted in accordance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Individuals and Performance Management Support the pharmacy manager in staff training, performance management, and talent development. Foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork among colleagues. Promote employee engagement and recognition programs. Training and Self-Awareness Maintain current knowledge and required licensure/credentialing/certification as established by federal and state regulations. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in pharmacy and healthcare. Pursue ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge. Requirements Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree from an accredited educational institution. Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the region. Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate strong knowledge of relevant state and federal controlled substance regulations. Certified Immunizer or ability to become certified within 90 days of hire. Preferred Qualifications At least 2 years of experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting, including prescription filling and check, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance.
