Job Summary The Pharmacy Customer Service Associate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and providing support to our pharmacy team. This is a full-time remote opportunity, offering a competitive salary of $25 per hour. The successful candidate will be expected to work 8 hours a day, engaging with clients, processing sales, and maintaining accurate records. Key Responsibilities Model and convey a positive and great client experience, ensuring that all customers receive considerate, fair, and professional service. Register sales on assigned sales register, provide clients with efficient checkout service, and process transactions accurately. Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, utilizing pharmacy systems to acquire patient and medication information and process prescriptions. Engage clients and patients by greeting them, offering help with products and services, and resolving customer issues to ensure a positive experience. Model and offer customer service best practices with all colleagues, including relational habits and blithequark service qualities. Perform tasks as assigned by the Pharmacy Director, Staff Pharmacist, and Senior Manager, including using pharmacy systems to enter patient and medication data, filling prescriptions, and verifying medication accuracy. Maintain accurate records, check in and price stock, and perform administrative duties as required. Ensure compliance with state and local regulations regarding controlled substances and maintain knowledge of store systems and equipment. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English (except in Puerto Rico). Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours. Strong numerical skills, including counting, measuring, and weighing prescriptions. Good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control. Preferred Qualifications At least 6 months of experience in a retail environment. Previous work experience with blithequark. PTCB certification or willingness to obtain certification through the designated PTCB training program. Continuing education credits in healthcare and pharmacy, including the latest news and developments.
