Key Responsibilities Models and offers a unique and delightful purchaser experience, ensuring that customers receive exceptional service and support. Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides clients with courteous, honest, friendly, and efficient checkout service, and resolves customer issues and answers inquiries to ensure a superb purchaser experience. Assists the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the exercise of pharmacy, including the use of pharmacy systems to attain patient and drug information and process prescriptions. Engages clients and patients by greeting them and providing help with products and services, and resolves customer issues and answers inquiries to ensure a superb purchaser experience. Maintains accurate records, including patient and drug information, and ensures compliance with state and federal guidelines. Provides customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative system, suggestive sell of promotional photo merchandise. Assumes web pick-up duties, monitors orders in Picture Care Plus, fills orders, and provides orders to customers as they come to the store. Assists with outside and interior maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, orderly condition and appearance. Complies with all company policies and procedures, maintains respectful relationships with coworkers, and completes special assignments and other tasks as assigned. As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and support. This includes: Engaging clients and patients by greeting them and providing help with products and services. Resolving customer issues and answering inquiries to ensure a superb purchaser experience. Fashioning and stocking customer support first-rate practices with all team members to deliver extraordinary and delightful customer enjoyment. Operations As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for a range of operational tasks, including: Presents clients with courteous, friendly, speedy, and green carriers. Recommends items for sale to consumers and recommends alternate-up and/or partner items. Registers patron purchases on assigned cash sign-in, collects cash and distributes change as asked, and processes voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed. Maintains counters and cabinets smoothly and well merchandised, takes stock and maintains records, and tests in and prices merchandise as required or as directed by the store manager or communicated by the shift leader. Plays responsibilities as assigned by the Pharmacy manager, team Pharmacist, and store manager, including applying pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug records, ensuring data is entered efficiently, filling prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical pills, verifying medicine is accurate, and checking for potential interactions. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. PTCB certification or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks. Basic math skills and ability to operate a cash register. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will be highly regarded: Previous experience in a pharmacy or retail environment. Knowledge of pharmacy systems and software. Experience with inventory management and control. Basic knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations.
