Our pharmacy team is at the forefront of this mission, providing expert guidance, personalized care, and a wide range of services to meet the evolving needs of our customers. **Key Responsibilities** As an Experienced Pharmacy Customer Service Associate, you'll be responsible for: * Registering sales on assigned cash register, providing customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service * Assisting the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, including using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions * Engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience * Modeling and sharing customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience * Recommending items for sale to customers and recommending trade-up and/or companion items * Registering customer purchases, collecting cash and distributing change as requested, processing voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed * Maintaining a clean and well-merchandised store environment, including counters and shelves, and performing duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager **Essential Qualifications** * Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico) * Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours * High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification a plus * Basic math skills and ability to accurately count, measure, and weigh medications * Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, pharmacists, and other team members **Preferred Qualifications** * Six months of experience in a retail environment, preferably in a pharmacy setting * Prior work experience with blithequark a plus * Good computer skills, including proficiency in pharmacy systems and software * Knowledge of store inventory control and management principles * PTCB certification or willingness to obtain certification through our designated training program **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide a positive and welcoming experience for customers * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, pharmacists, and other team members * Basic math skills and ability to accurately count, measure, and weigh medications * Good computer skills, including proficiency in pharmacy systems and software * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail * Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve customer issues and answer questions in a timely and professional manner **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we're committed to helping our team members grow and develop their careers.
