If you are passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences and have a strong commitment to patient care, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. **Key Responsibilities** As an Experienced Pharmacy Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for: * **Delivering Exceptional Customer Service**: Engage with customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience. * **Assisting Pharmacists**: Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy. Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions. * **Registering Sales**: Register sales on assigned cash register, provide customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service. * **Maintaining a Clean and Organized Store**: Keep counters and shelves clean and well-merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records. Check in and price merchandise as required or as directed by store manager or communicated by the shift leader. * **Performing Administrative Tasks**: Perform duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager, including utilizing pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, ensuring information is entered correctly, filling prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs, verifying medicine is correct, and checking for possible interactions. * **Handling Telephone Calls**: Handle telephone calls that do not require personal attention of the pharmacist, including those to physicians. * **Processing Claims**: Process (corrects and resubmits) manual claims for third-party program prescription services in a timely and efficient manner. * **Assisting with Inventory Management**: Assist and support Pharmacy Department on inventory management activities, such as ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipment of pharmaceuticals. * **Maintaining Compliance**: Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products). * **Constructing and Maintaining Displays**: Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise. Complete resets and revisions as directed. * **Providing Customer Service in the Photo Area**: Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine, suggestive sell of promotional photo products. * **Assuming Web Pick-up Responsibilities**: Assume web pick-up responsibilities (monitors orders in Picture Care Plus, fills orders (pick items), delivers orders to customers as they arrive at store). * **Assisting with Exterior and Interior Maintenance**: Assist with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance. **Essential Qualifications** * **High School Diploma or Equivalent**: Required * **PTCB Certification**: Earned and maintained PTCB certification through the designated PTCB training program and/or state required certification/registration. * **Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills**: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, customers, and healthcare professionals. * **Basic Computer Skills**: Basic computer skills, including the ability to use pharmacy systems and software. * **Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment**: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. **Preferred Qualifications** * **Pharmacy Technician Certification**: Pharmacy technician certification, such as CPhT or RPh. * **Experience in a Pharmacy Setting**: Experience in a pharmacy setting, with a strong understanding of pharmacy operations and procedures. * **Knowledge of Pharmacy Systems**: Knowledge of pharmacy systems, including the ability to use pharmacy software and hardware. * **Excellent Problem-Solving Skills**: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve customer issues and answer questions in a timely and effective manner. **Skills and Competencies** * **Customer Service**: Strong customer service skills, with the ability to deliver exceptional patient care and customer experiences. * **Communication**: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, customers, and healthcare professionals. * **Teamwork**: Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with pharmacists, technicians, and other healthcare professionals. * **Attention to Detail**: High level of attention to detail, with the ability to accurately process prescriptions and maintain accurate records. * **Problem-Solving**: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve customer issues and answer questions in a timely and effective manner. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for career growth and development.
