Key Responsibilities As a Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) at BAYADA, your key responsibilities will include: Providing High-Quality Care: Delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to children with complex medical needs in their homes. Assessing and Developing Care Plans: Assessing the medical, social, and emotional needs of our clients and developing individualized care plans to meet their unique needs. Collaborating with Families and Healthcare Teams: Working closely with families, healthcare teams, and other professionals to ensure that our clients receive comprehensive and coordinated care. Administering Medications and Treatments: Administering medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians and outlined in our clients' care plans. Monitoring and Reporting Changes: Monitoring our clients' conditions and reporting any changes or concerns to their healthcare teams and families. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Current RN License: A current Registered Nurse license in good standing in the state of New Jersey. Pediatric Experience: Experience working with children and families, preferably in a home health care setting. Strong Clinical Skills: Strong clinical skills, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with families, healthcare teams, and other professionals. Ability to Work Independently: The ability to work independently in a home health care setting, with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Trach and Vent Experience: Experience working with children who have tracheostomies and ventilators. Pediatric Certification: Certification in pediatrics, such as CPN or PNP. BLS Certification: Current BLS certification. Experience with Electronic Medical Records: Experience with electronic medical records and documentation systems.
