About the Role As a Payments Analyst at Home Depot, you will be responsible for supporting the administration of key seller connections, analyzing data for senior management presentations, and performing daily examinations that impact business performance and decisioning. You will collaborate with various professionals and stakeholders to drive business outcomes and leverage digital reporting processes to inform your analysis. Key Responsibilities Support the administration of key seller connections, including monthly and quarterly business audits with payment card organizations Collect and analyze data for presentations to senior management, including regular payment metrics Perform daily examinations that impact business performance and decisioning, and collaborate with various professionals and stakeholders as needed Learn, maintain, and leverage digital reporting processes to inform your analysis Use data modeling to demonstrate performance of business KPIs and help with the resolution and monitoring of payment card network compliance issues Provide project support and guidance to other team members and satisfy impromptu demands and complete special tasks Acquire new skill sets as needed to support the needs of the Payments Group and the Financial Services Division Breaking Down Key Liabilities The Payments Analyst role is divided into four key areas of responsibility, each accounting for 25% of the job: Key Analysis/Critical Thinking : Understand business operations, identify and execute process and organizational improvements, and design and ensure execution of financial division targets Financial Planning and Project Management : Develop strategies that integrate financial products and services into core businesses and new key initiatives, own and manage projects to ensure timely completion and best quality, and create and execute detailed project plans/execution plans Data Analysis and Presentation : Collect and analyze data for presentations to senior management, provide project support and guidance to other team members, and review and change/approve their project plans and decisions on a case-by-case basis Financial and Operational Evaluation : Evaluate financial and operational/quality consequences of new projects against predetermined objectives, determine if projects should be carried out, make recommendations to senior management, and help with developing execution strategies Essential and Preferred Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field Financial services experience Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Trustworthy thinking abilities and a history of successfully managing multiple, concurrent projects Demonstrated excellence at project management for small to medium-sized projects A strong handle on project management skills and requirements gathering The ability to analyze business issues and opportunities strategically Functional knowledge of payment processing techniques Predominant decision-making and problem-solving skills The ability to interpret complex data using Microsoft Excel and Tableau Highly effective communication and moderation skills, using tools like Microsoft PowerPoint Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity and remarkable time management skills A fitness and eagerness for continuous learning Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits As a Payments Analyst at Home Depot, you will have opportunities for career growth and professional development.
