Key Responsibilities Input, update, and maintain data within blithequark's systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity Contribute to the development of planned sales, gross margin, and market share growth within assigned categories Analyze key data and integrate findings and recommendations into category plans Drive strategic execution of daily operational activities, including tracking promotional periods and performing present analysis Collaborate with an internal team of blithequark experts in Inventory, Pricing, Promotion, Finance, Store Brands, Store Design, Marketing, and Store Operations Analyze sales records and inventory levels of current stock Create and maintain areas of strength for competitive analysis and identify new competitive opportunities Stay up-to-date with changes in the market and industry trends Research customer product preferences, supplier costs, and the competitive landscape Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Working knowledge of retail math concepts and demonstrated application Technical proficiency in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and some Access or other database knowledge Willingness to travel 5-10% Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and analytical skills Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Prior experience in data entry or a related field Knowledge of blithequark's systems and processes Experience working in a remote or home-based environment Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for career growth and development.
