Job Overview We're seeking a highly qualified and experienced Math Tutor to work with high school and middle school students in Hendersonville, TN. As a part-time tutor, you'll be responsible for providing high-quality tutoring services that cater to the individual needs of each student. Your expertise in math and teaching will help students build confidence, develop problem-solving skills, and achieve academic success. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one tutoring services to high school and middle school students in math and related subjects Develop and implement customized lesson plans that cater to the individual needs of each student Effectively balance tutoring hours given for each assigned student Service existing clients' concerns, questions, and requests in a professional and timely manner Follow-up with our office when a student's enrollment package is low on hours Prepare session reports for our office and families within twenty-four hours of each tutoring session Utilize basic database and data entry skills to maintain accurate records Essential Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience in the education field and industry Minimum 2 years of experience in tutoring/teaching in specialized education fields (preferred) Strong understanding of math concepts and teaching methods Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs Reliable transportation with current car insurance Access to the internet, a computer, and a smartphone Preferred Qualifications: Credentialed tutors and/or graduate degrees Experience with basic database and data entry Strong administration and organizational skills Typing, PC, and recording skills Skills and Competencies: Strong math skills and knowledge of teaching methods Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to motivate and inspire students to learn Flexibility and adaptability in teaching styles and approaches Strong organizational and time management skills Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Tutoring of Nashville, we're committed to supporting the professional growth and development of our tutors.
