Job Summary We're looking for experienced and enthusiastic Online English Tutors to coach, tutor, and help students achieve their language learning goals. As a Preply tutor, you'll have the freedom to set your own schedule, create your own lesson plans, and work with students from all over the world. Key Responsibilities Teach English online to Preply students worldwide, on your own schedule and at your own price Create your own lesson plans or use Preply's curriculum for your lessons with your students Use Preply's integrated calendar to set your availability and schedule lessons with students Access training and professional development through Preply's Tutor Academy and regular webinars Provide personalized feedback and guidance to help students achieve their language learning goals Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of each student's needs and learning style Utilize Preply's platform to track student progress, retrieve payments, and access training resources Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Proficiency in English (native or fluent) University degree or Certificate to teach English (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, DELTA, etc.), or equivalent qualification in English language teaching Experience teaching one-on-one classes with proven results, preferably online Experience providing comprehensive materials and resources to meet students' needs High-speed internet connection and reliable technology Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working with students of various ages and skill levels Familiarity with online learning platforms and tools Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule Strong organizational and time management skills Skills and Competencies To succeed as a Preply tutor, you'll need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent English language skills (grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation) Strong teaching and communication skills Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with students Flexibility and willingness to learn and grow Strong technical skills (familiarity with online platforms and tools) Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Preply, we're committed to supporting the growth and development of our tutors.
