Job Overview In this part-time role, you will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls, chats, and other potential contact methods within our Call Center. Your primary objective will be to provide exceptional customer service, anticipate and meet the needs of our clients' consumers, and work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve quality and performance standards. You will report to the department Manager and maintain a working knowledge of service workflows and contact center technologies necessary to perform all job functions. Key Responsibilities Field and resolve inquiries via phone, chat, and other potential contact methods within the Call Center Provide exceptional customer service, striving to anticipate and meet the needs of our clients' consumers Treat all consumers and colleagues with dignity and respect, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve quality and performance standards, sharing knowledge and best practices to drive continuous improvement Maintain a working knowledge of service workflows and contact center technologies, staying up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements in the field Requirements for Success To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment Excellent communication skills, including active listening and problem-solving abilities Proficient computer skills, with the ability to learn new software and technologies quickly Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will be highly regarded: Experience working in a healthcare or medical billing environment Knowledge of Revenue Cycle Management principles and practices Certification in customer service or a related field Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations Language, Mathematical, and Reasoning Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills: Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, and memos Ability to write and present information to leadership, vendors, clients, and other employees of the organization Mathematical skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Reasoning ability, including the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations, plan, organize, delegate, and prioritize work Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands of this role are limited, with occasional lifting of up to 30-50lbs.
