Job Overview As an Overnight Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will undertake an intermediary role between potential clients and our financial institution, with the primary goal of helping qualified applicants obtain loans in a timely manner while protecting our organization's credibility. Your duties and responsibilities will include analyzing, appraising, and verifying loan applicants, originating loans, making payment arrangements, and answering customer queries. You will be the face of our company, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our clients receive the best possible experience. Key Responsibilities Make outbound and receive inbound calls to customers, providing timely and effective support and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner. Consistently and accurately document all information pertaining to accounts, ensuring that records are up-to-date and easily accessible. Use basic business math to solve problems and make informed decisions, demonstrating a strong understanding of financial concepts and principles. Speak clearly, concisely, and effectively, listening to and understanding information and ideas as presented verbally, and responding in a sensitive, tactful, and professional manner. Follow written and/or verbal instructions, working within the laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures that govern our industry and organization. Process card payments accurately, ensuring that all transactions are secure and compliant with relevant regulations. Perform the initial approval of potential borrowers by thoroughly examining their applications through multiple software systems, evaluating their eligibility for loans and making informed decisions. Follow up with customers to clarify important points, finalize loan details, and keep them informed of rules and obligations, ensuring that they are fully aware of their responsibilities and commitments. Remain up-to-speed regarding lending and other financial services, staying informed about industry developments, trends, and best practices. Create and renew records, maintaining accurate and comprehensive files that meet our organizational standards and requirements. Identify customer needs, explore all options available to customers, and provide personalized support and guidance to ensure that their needs are met and exceeded. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent customer service skills, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure. You should be proficient with technology, especially computers, software applications, and phone systems, and have a strong understanding of basic business math concepts. A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required, and preferred candidates will have experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the financial services industry. Preferred Education and/or Experience While a minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required, preferred candidates will have a degree in a related field, such as business, finance, or communications. Relevant experience in a customer service or financial services role is also highly desirable, as is experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Technical Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to be proficient in the use of MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. You should also be comfortable using the internet and cloud-based storage systems, and have experience with phone systems and software applications. Working Conditions and Physical Demands This role will require you to work remotely on the 3rd shift from 11pm to 7am, with the exception of an initial 1-week training period, which will be conducted from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. You should be comfortable working in a remote environment and have a dedicated workspace that is free from distractions and interruptions. You will need to be able to sit for long periods of time, talking and listening constantly, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
