About the Role As an Online Chat Representative at blithequark, you will play a critical role in providing customer support via live chat sessions and email tickets. Your primary responsibility will be to respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide guidance on using blithequark's platform. You will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and will be expected to maintain a professional tone, resolve inquiries quickly and accurately, and provide exceptional customer service. This is an entry-level opportunity that requires no prior experience or college degree, and you will receive comprehensive paid training to ensure your success in the role. Key Responsibilities Provide live chat support to customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner Handle email ticket resolution, using structured replies and customizing tone and details for each customer Utilize internal resources, such as saved replies, help documentation, and platform guides, to resolve issues effectively Tag and categorize tickets, logging each conversation with appropriate tags and summaries for QA and reporting purposes Escalate complex cases to billing or technical teams, providing full context and detailed internal notes Stay informed about product changes, outages, or macro updates to maintain accuracy in responses Collaborate with the team, communicating via Slack and shared dashboards with your QA coach, peers, and team leads Meet daily KPIs, maintaining performance targets for chat volume, resolution time, CSAT scores, and internal ticket accuracy A Typical Workday A typical workday as an Online Chat Representative at blithequark will begin with a shift start, where you will check in via Slack, scan team announcements, and review any flagged issues. You will then begin working through the email queue while waiting for live chats to come in. During the mid-shift activity, you will manage multiple concurrent chat sessions while keeping email ticket responses moving in the background. At the end of your shift, you will wrap up active chats, log internal notes, and submit unresolved tickets for handoff. You will also complete your shift report and review performance stats.
