Our proprietary Flexologist training program ensures that our clients receive world-class stretching sessions tailored to their individual needs. Key Responsibilities Learn and perform standard 25 and 50-minute one-on-one stretch sessions, including all major muscle groups and extremities Customize stretch sessions to fit the individual needs of clients, assessing their bodies and discussing outcome goals Provide exceptional customer service, delivering a high-end experience to every client and promoting future visits and membership options Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions, building StretchLab membership and retaining current clientele through sales and outreach Ensure client safety by delivering proper stretch techniques and enforcing StretchLab policies and safety rules Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations, staying up-to-date on the latest principles in stretching, anatomy, and overall fitness Assist Sales Associates and General Manager with studio tours and sales as needed, maintaining a strong social media presence to promote client membership and retention Clean and maintain all equipment to ensure it's available for client use at any given time Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant at StretchLab Appleton, you'll need: A nationally certified and/or licensed qualification as a physical therapist, chiropractor, personal trainer, massage therapist, yoga instructor, Pilates teacher, or another form of specialized health & fitness 2 years of previous experience in a fitness facility, private training environment, or professional health setting Superior communication skills (verbal & written) with the ability to connect with people while motivating them to achieve their goals The ability to successfully perform stretch routines on clients of all sizes and age groups (this is a physically demanding position, requiring the ability to lift a minimum of 25-30 lbs above the head with ease) A passion for continually learning new principles in stretching, anatomy, and overall fitness, health, and nutrition Hands-on training and experience in areas such as anatomy, Kinesiology, corrective exercise, post-rehab, and injury prevention are a plus Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a fitness/health environment where you provided hands-on training with clients A background in occupational therapy or a related field Fitness certification and the ability to create a positive environment that welcomes all people What We Offer As a valued member of our team, you'll enjoy: A competitive hourly rate of $20-$25 per hour A flexible schedule with a minimum of 20+ hours per week Opportunities for career growth and professional development A dynamic and supportive work environment with a passionate team Employee discounts and perks Ongoing training and education to help you stay up-to-date in the latest industry trends Our Work Environment and Culture At StretchLab Appleton, we're committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for our clients and team members.
