Job Overview: Modern Consumption & Software Sales Account Executive As a Modern Consumption & Software Sales Account Executive, you'll play a critical role in driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You'll work closely with senior-level technical personnel and decision-makers to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions using Dell's products and services. Your expertise will help customers achieve their objectives, and you'll be an integral part of our sales organization. Key Responsibilities: Proactively identify and solve customer business needs by providing subject matter expertise and creating solutions using Dell's products and services. Manage relationships with senior-level technical personnel and decision-makers to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction. Demonstrate the value of products and/or service technologies to advance customer business objectives. Provide insight and thought leadership to customers concerning the applicability of highly complex products and services. Act as a technical resource for the sales organization to help meet and exceed their objectives. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to maintain a competitive edge. Essential Qualifications: Advanced knowledge of technical products, vendors, and families of technologies. Excellent understanding of product configurations and the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively. Exceptional oral and written communication skills to communicate with customers, support personnel, and leadership. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction. Preferred Qualifications: 8 to 12 years of related experience in a relationship-selling role, preferably in the technology industry. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, marketing, or computer science. Proven track record of success in sales, with a strong understanding of sales principles and practices.
