As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for investing in the future of our People, executing strategic direction, and coaching Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management. Your primary focus will be on increasing sales, establishing formal partnerships, and broadening awareness of our corporate travel programs and services to State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts. **Key Responsibilities** As a Manager State & Higher Education at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include: * Executing strategic direction for State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts * Coaching and professionally developing Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management * Increasing sales and establishing formal partnerships with State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts * Broadening awareness of arenaflex corporate travel programs and services * Identifying and hiring Candidates for a sales organization of trusted Advisors in the managed travel industry * Onboarding and training a sales organization of trusted Advisors in the managed travel industry * Collaborating with fellow Leaders to identify opportunities for growth and innovation **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field * At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in the managed travel industry * Proven track record of increasing sales and establishing formal partnerships * Excellent coaching and development skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines * U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work in the U.S. (no current or future work authorization sponsorship available) **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications would be highly desirable: * Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field * Experience working in the airline or travel industry * Certification in a related field, such as Certified Travel Associate (CTA) or Certified Travel Manager (CTM) * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions * Experience with sales force automation tools and technologies **Skills and Competencies** To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and competencies: * Strategic thinking and planning * Leadership and coaching * Communication and interpersonal skills * Analytical and problem-solving skills * Time management and organization * Adaptability and flexibility * Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our People grow and develop their careers.
