Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Manager of Windows Server Operating System to join our IT team at blithequark. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will be responsible for leading a team of skilled professionals in the management and maintenance of our Windows Server environment. Key Responsibilities Lead a team of Windows Server administrators in the management and maintenance of our Windows Server environment, ensuring 24x7 operational support and high levels of uptime, reliability, and security. Develop and implement strategies for improving the performance, security, and efficiency of our Windows Server environment, including virtualization, patch management, and backup and recovery processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and security, to ensure alignment and effective communication. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, helping to develop their skills and expertise in Windows Server administration. Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation plans to ensure effective use of resources and alignment with business objectives. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards, including HIPAA and other regulatory requirements. Essential Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience in managing Windows Server environments, with a focus on virtualization, security, and performance optimization. Minimum of 2 years of experience in leading teams of IT professionals, with a proven track record of successful team management and leadership. Graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong technical skills in Windows Server administration, including experience with VMware, SCCM, and other relevant technologies. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop creative solutions.
