Job Overview As a Manager, Customer Insights and Retail Media Network Development at blithequark, you will play a critical role in driving business growth by developing and implementing data-driven strategies that meet the evolving needs of our clients. You will work closely with our sales and account management teams to formulate media strategies that drive business results, and provide actionable insights to our clients to help them optimize their media investments. Your expertise in data analysis, storytelling, and project management will enable you to synthesize complex data into strategic recommendations, and present findings in a clear and compelling manner to both internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute annual strategic learning plans for businesses supported by blithequark's retail media network, ensuring alignment with client goals and objectives. Lead quarterly business review processes with top clients, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to optimize media investments and drive business growth. Serve as a subject matter expert for media performance reporting, providing guidance and support to internal partners and external clients and agencies. Analyze disparate data from multiple sources to develop strategic recommendations for future media investments, and present findings to internal leadership and external vendor-partners. Oversee the development and codification of best practices in media performance evaluation, data visualization, standardized reporting, and insights, ensuring consistency and excellence across the organization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, account management, product, and ad tech, to provide input on reporting capabilities and ensure alignment with client needs and goals. Integrate knowledge across the Customer Insights and Analytics team to bring relevant insights to blithequark's retail media business, and highlight the state of the customer in key forums with leadership. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Statistics, Econometrics, Information Sciences, or Applied Quantitative, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in insights and analytics. 3-5 years of experience in retail media or general media analytics, with a proven track record of driving business growth through data-driven strategies. Experience in analytical, decision-making, and project management, with the ability to synthesize complex data into strategic recommendations. Strong storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to present data insights in a clear and compelling manner to both internal and external stakeholders. Experience with A/B testing, and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Experience working with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar software. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Master's degree in a related field, such as Market Research, Behavioral Psychology, or MBA. Proven experience leading teams and driving business impact, with a strong track record of success in managing global teams. Experience working in a retail environment, with a deep understanding of the retail media landscape and the evolving needs of clients. Proficiency in analytic/research software, such as SPSS, Wincross, Sawtooth, SAS, Decipher, or Qualtrics.
