About the Role We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Loss Prevention Customer Service Associate II to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our store team, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment for our customers, while also providing exceptional customer service and support to our store management and loss prevention teams. Key Responsibilities Maintain a proper and professional stance in the designated area at the front of the store, acting as a visual deterrent to prevent potential loss or dishonesty Review and understand the Store Emergency Response Guide, ensuring that you are equipped to respond to any situation that may arise Wear a complete arenaflex approved uniform, including a Body Worn Camera, to ensure that you are easily identifiable and able to perform your duties effectively Greet customers appropriately, demonstrating courtesy and respect, and establish a positive and welcoming tone for their shopping experience Establish and maintain a position at the front of the store or in a department, providing a visible presence and support to our customers and store teams Respond to customer requests for assistance, referring them to store management or customer service via a arenaflex issued radio, and ensuring that their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner Observe and report any suspicious behavior or critical incidents to LP or store management, using your sound judgment and decision-making skills to ensure the safety and security of our customers, employees, and assets Perform a closing safety sweep of the store with a member of management, ensuring that all areas are secure and that our customers and employees are protected Adhere to all arenaflex policies and procedures, maintaining and supporting our company culture and values, and ensuring that you are always acting in the best interests of our organization Document required incidents in AIIM Case Management, providing accurate and detailed records of any incidents or issues that may arise Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating your flexibility and willingness to support the needs of our store teams and customers Essential Qualifications Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, store teams, and management Sound decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Ability to take initiative and perform well independently, with a strong sense of self-motivation and direction Prioritizes and organizes workload, managing time effectively and ensuring that all tasks and responsibilities are completed to a high standard Able to stand for long periods of time, with the physical ability to perform the duties of the role 0-2 years retail or security experience, with a strong understanding of loss prevention principles and practices Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a customer-facing role, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic retail environment, with the ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities Strong knowledge of loss prevention techniques and strategies, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical and effective manner Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a strong sense of collaboration and cooperation Career Growth and Development At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our associates, providing opportunities for career advancement and professional development.
