Job Overview As a Logistics Operations Manager at Google, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily logistics operations management of multiple data center locations. You will lead and support cross-functional team projects, manage vendor performance scorecards, and identify opportunities for improvement in cost and service quality. Key Responsibilities Own daily logistics operations management of multiple data center locations, ensuring efficient and effective processes Develop, lead, and support cross-functional team projects and initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders to achieve shared goals Manage and monitor vendor performance scorecards, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and development of business cases to support logistics process changes or improvements Identify opportunities for improvement in cost and service quality, transforming ideas into a documented business case and presenting to peers and management for approval Provide ongoing project management, ensuring successful implementation and delivery of projects Manage relationships with various internal clients at data centers, applying exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong and diverse skillset, including: Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Strategies, Tasks, Designing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience At least 3 years of experience in managing warehousing, manufacturing, or supply chain operations Experience in project planning, business case development, influencing teams, presentations, and financial modeling Ability to manage people in remote and regional areas, with excellent leadership and communication skills Preferred Qualifications MBA or Graduate degree in a related field, with a strong understanding of business principles and practices Certification in project management, with experience in managing complex projects and initiatives Experience in operations management, problem-solving, Third-Party Logistics (3PL) vendor relationships, budget creation, and cost management Ability to apply structured thinking and logic, providing solutions to complex problems and driving results Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions Career Growth and Learning Opportunities At Google, we're committed to the growth and development of our employees.
