About the Role As an IT Service Engineer at Wayfair, you will play a critical role in delivering top-notch technical support to our global workforce. Our Representative Tech team is responsible for empowering employee productivity through collaboration, innovation, and technical expertise. By joining our team, you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of technologies, including Windows Server, network infrastructure, and warehouse equipment. Key Responsibilities Build strong relationships with our Warehouse Operations team by spending time on the warehouse floor to understand their workflows and provide effective technical support. Troubleshoot a wide range of technical issues, including Windows Server, network connectivity, and warehouse equipment problems. Prioritize tickets on ServiceNow to ensure timely updates and resolutions for local and remote end-users. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and business teams to resolve high-impact incidents with a focus on speed and quality. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to identify and address recurring technical issues. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including concise analysis and reports for management. Demonstrate ownership and accountability by using a strong work ethic to resolve complex technical issues. Conduct thorough investigations by asking clarifying questions, gathering relevant data, and resolving issues using a data-driven approach. Manage and lead technical projects that impact the local site, ensuring successful outcomes. Be a team player, supporting other team members to achieve overall group objectives. Be flexible and available to provide support to 24/7 satisfaction centers and participate in rotational or on-call shifts as needed. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field. 2+ years of IT support experience, preferably in a warehouse environment. 2+ years of experience troubleshooting Windows Server and Active Directory issues. 2+ years of experience with DNS, DHCP, VoIP, VPN, and Cisco/Aruba networking device issues. 2+ years of experience with software imaging and deployment using SCCM. Experience troubleshooting warehouse equipment, such as RF barcode scanners and label printers. Strong customer support and organizational skills, with attention to detail. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a Computer/IT-related field. A+, Network+, or other IT industry-standard certifications. Scripting skills, such as PowerShell, VBScript, or PHP. Knowledge of email, FTP, and HTTP troubleshooting.
