As a key member of our Homekit Performance Team, you will play a crucial role in conducting technical research to improve the stability of iOS and designing automated testing solutions to benchmark and test the Homekit system. Key Responsibilities As an iOS Application Engineer at Workwarp, your primary responsibilities will include: Conducting reliable surveys and field-based performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and implementing changes to drive the process better Designing and developing new ideas that solve automation and execution problems, with a focus on creating innovative home automation solutions Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop benchmarks and tools that help drive the process better Utilizing expertise in data analysis and visualization tools, such as Splunk and Tableau, to inform product development and improvement Providing technical advice, guidance, and direction to project teams to ensure the highest levels of performance and reliability Thriving in a product-driven environment and working collaboratively with external partners to achieve shared goals Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience Expertise in managing end-to-end product reliability, with a focus on insights gained from field data analysis In-depth knowledge of tools and techniques for analyzing and benchmarking operating systems and application/algorithm performance Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python Excellent written and verbal skills, including collaboration with external partners A true passion for product quality and attention to detail, with a focus on creating innovative home automation solutions Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience working in a remote environment and collaborating with distributed teams Familiarity with Homekit and other home automation technologies Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and their applications in home automation Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams A strong passion for innovation and a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in home automation Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Workwarp, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
