As a key member of our customer service team, you'll be responsible for managing client communications, nurturing important relationships, and keeping track of policy details and documentation in our secured system. This is a critical role on our team, with a strong focus on client services to foster ongoing sales and renewals. **Responsibilities** As an Insurance Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for the following key tasks: * **Client Communication and Relationship Management**: Support clients reporting claims on current policies by gathering all documentation needed to give to the adjuster to process. * **Policy Updates and Changes**: Record any policy updates or changes on customer accounts by tracking them in our book of business and communicating with clients to explain any updates to their coverage. * **Renewal Process and Policy Updates**: Assist with the renewal process and any policy updates by providing competitive quotes. * **Coverage and Billing Inquiries**: Give clear answers to clients on any coverage or billing questions, including information on rate fluctuations or policy changes to ensure full understanding. * **Industry Standards and Updates**: Stay up to date with industry standards, current rates, coverages, insurance products, insurance policies, and carriers by regularly speaking with our industry partners so you can help clients, underwriters, sales representatives, account executives, and the rest of our service team understand and address the latest rules and policy updates. * **Coverage Needs Review**: Review current client's coverage needs to determine if updates or changes are warranted. * **Communication and Documentation**: Communicate clear responses to coverage or billing inquiries and process and document calls, emails, and policy updates. **Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications: * **Active Insurance License**: Must have an active insurance license in Minnesota or must be willing to get licensed in 30 days. * **Strong Communication and Problem-Solving Skills**: Candidates should be very strong with written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and have great follow-up skills. * **Basic Computer Skills**: Jobseekers need to have basic computer skills and have the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). * **Insurance Experience**: Insurance experience as an insurance agent or other position is preferred but we will provide training as needed for the right fit and skillset. **Essential Skills and Competencies** To excel in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential skills and competencies: * **Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills**: Ability to communicate effectively with clients, underwriters, sales representatives, account executives, and the rest of the service team. * **Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills**: Ability to analyze complex insurance policies and identify solutions to client problems. * **Time Management and Organization Skills**: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment. * **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and ability to learn our secured system. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
