Job Overview and Responsibilities As an In-person Test Prep Tutor with Applerouth, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one, in-home test preparation tutoring to students in the Washington DC metro area. Your primary goal will be to help students prepare for the SAT and ACT, using your knowledge and expertise to create personalized learning plans that cater to each student's unique needs and learning style. You will also be expected to maintain open communication with parents and students, providing regular progress updates and feedback. Provide in-person, one-on-one test preparation tutoring to students in the Washington DC metro area Develop and implement personalized learning plans tailored to each student's needs and learning style Conduct regular progress assessments and provide feedback to students and parents Stay up-to-date with changes to the SAT and ACT, as well as pedagogical strategies and best practices in test preparation Participate in paid training and professional development opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills Maintain reliable transportation and high-speed internet access to facilitate tutoring sessions and communication with students and parents Requirements and Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must possess a strong passion for education and a desire to help others succeed.
