Our Global Customer Care organization is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team, supporting the Instruments Division in managing a wide range of projects, from operational and commercial initiatives to new product development. This hybrid position offers the flexibility to work from home two days a week, providing a better work-life balance. Key Responsibilities In this critical role, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and ensuring timely delivery of results. Your key responsibilities will include: Leading the team in the development of project charters and management plans, directing, managing, monitoring, and controlling projects, and evaluating tradeoffs within the project. Meeting with project stakeholders to understand and refine project scope, reviewing with managers for approval, and creating detailed Work Breakdown Structures. Demonstrating effective communication skills with managers and team members, developing and managing detailed project Gantt charts, and analyzing critical paths and major workstreams. Collaborating with supervisors and/or project PMs to establish sub-project budgets, monitoring and maintaining costs within budget, and developing risk management plans for projects. Identifying, analyzing, and understanding project risks, developing and monitoring risk response plans, estimating, acquiring, and assigning project team resources, and defining roles, responsibilities, and deliverables for each team member. Developing Stakeholder management plans based on the identification, analysis, and understanding of Stakeholder expectations, and developing and executing communications management plans for project teams and key stakeholders. Incorporating end-user feedback to refine scope through the project lifecycle, communicating changes, updates, and decisions to key stakeholders, and understanding and communicating how goals fit into broader organizational goals. Managing multiple projects simultaneously, depending on complexity, serving as the PMO project lifecycle expert on the team, owning project planning and replanning, assigning tasks, and managing schedules to ensure deadlines are met. Performing project status reporting, exercising good judgment when escalating project and operational risks, leveraging PM tools to manage open actions, risks, key decisions, and lessons learned, and actively engaging in improving PMO processes, knowledge platforms, and culture. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field. At least 4+ years of project management-related work experience, with demonstrated experience managing or leading projects of varying complexity through the full project lifecycle. Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or other tools is highly preferred. Certification in Project Management, CAPM or PMP, is preferred. Utilization of agile and/or waterfall planning methodology is preferred. Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes for product design is preferred. Leading projects for medical devices or regulated industries is preferred. Preferred Qualifications In addition to the essential qualifications, the following skills and competencies are preferred: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with project team members, stakeholders, and leadership. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with managers and team members. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate tradeoffs within the project and develop risk management plans. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a changing environment, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and process optimization. Experience with agile project management methodologies and tools, such as Jira or Asana. Knowledge of IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL.
