About the Role: Senior Outreach Specialist As a Senior Outreach Specialist at blithequark, you will play a vital role in our fast-paced contact center environment, where you will be responsible for screening health plan members to determine their eligibility for Social Security benefits and/or supplemental Nutritional Assistance programs. Utilizing a similar system tool as Social Security, you will provide exceptional customer service and support to those who meet specific criteria, assisting them in submitting applications for benefits to the appropriate government agency. This is a fully remote opportunity, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own private, quiet office space. Key Responsibilities: Make outbound and receive inbound calls to promote blithequark's services, with a focus on phone-based interactions (approximately 90% of the time) Conduct interviews with patients/members via phone to gather personal and sensitive information, determining eligibility for various government programs Utilize blithequark's systems to ensure that appropriate questions are asked, and interpret and explain information such as eligibility requirements and application details Use probing questions to clarify eligibility data with patients or members, compiling, recording, and evaluating personal and financial data to determine eligibility Ensure the safety and confidentiality of data and systems by adhering to blithequark's information security policies and completing all annual security and compliance training Essential Qualifications: 2 years of experience in a customer service/call center environment, with excellent phone skills and strong data entry skills Ability to place and receive calls via computer interface, with excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to manage difficult people Associate's Degree preferred, with experience working remotely and a private, quiet office/working space Ability to be assertive, actively listen, and show compassion, with a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a healthcare-related field, with knowledge of government-funded assistance programs and Social Security benefits Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and explain complex information Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to providing our employees with a rewarding work environment that fosters growth, excellence, and achievement of personal and professional goals.
