About Our Remote Opportunity Our remote team is currently hiring from 40 preferred residency states, excluding AK, CA, HI, or outside of the United States. Residents of Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington, and Washington, D.C. will be considered based on special business needs. What You'll Be Doing As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you will be the face of our organization, providing exceptional support and guidance to our customers. Your passion for helping others, combined with your strong product and brand knowledge, will enable you to recommend upgrades to health plans, conduct research, and provide answers to customer inquiries. You will also assist members with logging into and understanding the functionality of their online health accounts, locating doctor and facility information, and resolving issues with compassion and empathy. Key Responsibilities: Bring your passion and strong product and brand knowledge to recommend upgrades to health plans Conduct research and make outbound calls to provide answers to customer inquiries regarding general healthcare benefit and eligibility questions, enrollment status requests for new and existing members Assist members with logging into and understanding the functionality of their online health accounts, locating doctor and facility information Provide exceptional customer service, resolving issues with compassion and empathy Maintain integrity and follow HIPAA guidelines on maintaining patient privacy What You Bring to the Role To be successful in this role, you will need to bring a combination of skills, experience, and personal qualities, including: 6 months or more of customer service experience High school diploma or equivalent Computer experience and high-speed internet (> 15 mbps) A USB wired headset (or equivalent) A smartphone or device that runs IOS or Android (iPad, etc.) for daily log-in Integrity to follow HIPAA guidelines on maintaining patient privacy Essential Qualifications: In addition to the above requirements, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities. You will also need to be comfortable working in a remote setting, with minimal supervision, and be self-motivated to achieve your goals and objectives. Preferred Qualifications: While not essential, preferred qualifications include experience working in a healthcare or customer service environment, with knowledge of healthcare benefits and eligibility. You will also need to be proficient in using computer software and technology, with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
