As a remote Data Entry Clerk, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data management processes. Key Responsibilities Transfer data from paper formats, computer files, recorders, or scanners into digital databases, records, and files with high accuracy and speed. Enter data into designated fields, ensuring data integrity and consistency. Handle numerical data accurately, creating and organizing spreadsheets with large numbers. Cure data directly from speech or interviews, and update databases or records with new information as it becomes available. Correct and modify inaccurate files and records, ensuring data accuracy and quality. Type data directly and accurately, with a high level of precision and attention to detail. Comply with security backups and regular checks to ensure data is saved and stored properly. Summarize data for standardized reports, and view and verify confidential or private customer/client information. Protect the information and identities of customers/clients, and maintain confidentiality at all times. Verify data by correctly checking and comparing source documentation. Organize paper formats, paper backups, and material source files as needed. Requirements Essential Qualifications High school diploma; associate's degree, or bachelor's degree in business, administration, or a related field. Prior experience handling data entry responsibilities or equivalent experience in a related field. Accurate and precise attention to detail, with strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Skilled knowledge in generating process documentation, and ability to assist team members when needed. Fast and accurate typist, with a high level of precision and attention to detail. Ability to speak confidently, clearly, and professionally for voice recording data. Understands data confidentiality principles and follows them to the letter. Preferred Qualifications Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel spreadsheets. Knowledge of touch typing system. Highly organized multitasker who works well in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to learn and grow with blithequark. Self-directed and able to work without supervision.
