Job Summary As a Customer Service Representative at Blithequark, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our customers, assisting them with product selection, completing transactions, and answering questions about our store and merchandise. You will be the face of our brand, and your exceptional customer service skills will help drive sales, build customer loyalty, and create a positive shopping experience. Key Responsibilities Customer Engagement: Provide exceptional customer service in a positive and approachable manner, greeting customers, and assisting them with product selection. Store Maintenance: Assist in maintaining a clean, well-stocked store environment, including unloading merchandise from delivery trucks, organizing merchandise, and transporting merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor. Shelf Stocking and Merchandise Recovery: Independently stock shelves and recover merchandise in the store, ensuring that our products are easily accessible and visually appealing. Transaction Processing: Accurately handle customer funds and process transactions using our POS system, ensuring a seamless and efficient checkout experience. Customer Safety and Security: Remain constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment, responding promptly to any concerns or issues. Additional Duties: Perform all other duties as assigned to maintain an effective and profitable store operation, including supporting our management team and contributing to a positive and productive work environment. Position Requirements Education and Experience We prefer candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent, and experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments. However, we are open to considering candidates with relevant skills and experience. Physical Requirements As a Customer Service Representative, you will be required to: Lift up to 40lbs (and occasionally, up to 55lbs) from floor level to above shoulder height. Meet the demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation. Availability We require a flexible, full-time schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
