About the Job: Website Developer As a Website Developer at PradeepIT, you will play a crucial role in consistently creating well-designed, tested code using best practices for website development, including mobile and responsive site design. Your primary objectives will include: Creating websites and user interfaces using standard HTML/CSS practices, while incorporating data from back-end databases and services Developing and maintaining workflows with teams to provide visibility and ensure workload balance for consistent visual designs Creating and validating testing schedules to ensure various computers can access content Maintaining updated knowledge of new and emerging industry trends and technology Key Responsibilities As a Website Developer , your daily and monthly responsibilities will include: Meeting regularly with business stakeholders and management to understand and refine business and functional requirements and determine project scopes and specifications Developing and maintaining strategic operational systems, tools, and processes, including participation in tactical and strategic development projects Ensuring software stability via regression, support quality assurance, and performing unit and user-acceptance testing to identify bugs and ensure production operations run successfully Working quickly and carefully to complete small edits requested by customers, developing plans for completing larger projects, collaborating with colleagues, and suggesting new solutions to improve existing websites Performing UI designs and coding, creating reusable objects and templates, wireframes for web pages and email templates; managing maintenance, updates, expansions, and scaling of each design Performing regular file backups to local directories for recovery Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in web design, multimedia design, or a related field Experience planning and developing websites across multiple products and organizations Working knowledge of web applications, programming languages, and web services, such as APIs, CSS, CSS3, cross-browser compatibility, HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, PHP, security principles, REST, SOAP, and web user interface design (UI) Proficiency with content management systems, including WordPress and Drupal Dedication to innovative, sophisticated designs and collaborative problem-solving Working experience in Windows and Linux environments Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience with eCommerce Proven success in a project coordination role Experience implementing and using modern web development workflows and operations using a variety of tools, including GitHub Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At PradeepIT, we're committed to helping you grow both personally and professionally.
