At blithequark, we're passionate about creating unique and engaging experiences that push the boundaries of what's possible. **The Role** As a Full Stack Senior Supervisor in our VFX department, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the VFX process on a slate of movie projects assigned by the Director, VFX. This is a fast-paced and dynamic role that requires a proactive and high-quality thinker who can exercise excellent judgment and initiative. You will work closely with production groups, Studio innovative Executives, and Finance to ensure seamless collaboration and successful project delivery. **Key Responsibilities** * Oversee all components of the VFX process on a slate of movie projects as assigned by the Director, VFX * Collaborate with production groups, Studio innovative Executives, and Finance to ensure successful project delivery * Study scripts, develop VFX breakdowns & budgets, and manufacturing/post-production planning * Provide insights and comments on VFX scope of work and feasibility * Construct and lead visual effects teams, recruiting Supervisors, manufacturers, carriers, and negotiating with vendors * Oversee agreement negotiations and liaise with legal to ensure thresholds for costs and organizational regulations * Handle VFX delivery progress and value file tracking, troubleshooting schedule and budget issues * Support expanding and maintaining constant reporting on budget, schedule, and VFX development * Work with the VFX manager and VFX producer to ensure high-quality work and adherence to project timelines * Gain knowledge of and network with new groups and up-and-comers, monitoring skills availability * Stay up-to-date with technical knowledge of the visual outcomes procedure, including 4K pipelines and rising technologies for improving workflows * Understand tax incentives and rebates * Assist in crafting, implementing, and executing strategic tasks and branch workflows in alignment with the Director, VFX **Qualifications** * 2+ years of experience in managing multiple projects at a time in managerial roles, including VFX producer, post manufacturer, VFX executive producer, VFX supervisor, etc. * Passion for visual effects and the era and artistry that makes it possible * Enjoy assembling and negotiating vendor bids, and budgeting for visual effects * International relations and discretion in handling sensitive issues and confidential matters * Strong government conversation and mastery of the ability to lead without authority * Understanding of modern trends for VFX manufacturing workflows * Team player who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment * Preference and self-motivation to continuously analyze * Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task **What We Offer** * Competitive salary and benefits package * Comprehensive medical insurance plans that cover medical, dental, and vision care * Intellectual fitness resources and assistance for employees * Stock options or stock grants to eligible employees * Paid time off and flexible work arrangements * Opportunities for continuous learning and development, including education programs and resources * Inclusive culture that values diversity and promotes collaboration * Access to blithequark's streaming service and other entertainment perks **How to Apply** If you're a motivated and experienced professional looking for a new challenge, we want to hear from you!
