Job Summary We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Remote Data Entry Specialist to play a critical role in our data management team. As a Remote Data Entry Specialist at Blithequark, you'll be responsible for accurately entering data into various systems and databases, verifying and updating existing data, and ensuring the confidentiality and security of all data. Key Responsibilities Data Entry and Management: Accurately enter data into various systems and databases, and verify and update existing data to ensure accuracy. Document Preparation: Prepare and sort documents for data entry, and ensure that all data is properly formatted and organized. Data Security and Confidentiality: Ensure the confidentiality and security of all data, and handle sensitive information with care. Routine Data Entry Tasks: Handle routine data entry tasks and resolve any discrepancies that may arise. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with team members to ensure data integrity and consistency, and communicate effectively with colleagues and management. Data Preservation: Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation and prevent data loss. Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure data accuracy and completeness. Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot data entry issues and resolve problems in a timely and efficient manner. Essential Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher preferred. Experience: Proven experience in data entry or a related field; experience with cloud-based applications and databases is a plus. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.); experience with data management software and tools is desirable. Typing Skills: Excellent typing speed and accuracy; ability to type at least 60 words per minute. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Communication Skills: Good communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and management. Work Environment: Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace; ability to work independently in a remote setting.
