Our team of experienced physicians and medical staff is committed to delivering exceptional patient care, and we're proud to offer a wide range of services, including: Outpatient surgery center Infusion suite for chemotherapy Full-scale imaging center Retail pharmacy on site Same day appointments available Our Otolaryngology Team Our Otolaryngology staff provides expert care for a range of conditions, including snoring and other sleep problems, sinus conditions, ear infections, throat problems, hearing disorders, and many other conditions of the ear, nose, and throat. As an LPN Ambulatory - ENT, you'll work closely with our team to provide exceptional patient care and support. Responsibilities As an LPN Ambulatory - ENT, you'll be responsible for: Collecting and documenting objective and subjective data and observations about patients Contributing observations and health information to the nursing assessment and reporting all data to the RN or authorized directing healthcare provider Implementing the current plan of nursing care at the direction of the RN, or the medication or treatment authorized by the authorized directing healthcare provider Documenting and verbally communicating the patient's response to the nursing plan of care, or the medication or treatment, including observing patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments and performing routine laboratory tests Contributing to the revision of the nursing plan of care Providing education and information to patients and family members Maintaining professional growth and development within the nursing field Participating in the departmental orientation of new employees in a positive manner, sharing knowledge, experiences, and providing guidance when assigned Other duties as assigned Requirements To be successful in this role, you'll need: Graduation from an approved school of Practical Nursing Current Ohio License as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision The ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate actions One year of patient care experience preferred Physical Requirements This role requires: Full body motion to move and lift patients, manual finger dexterity with good hand-eye coordination, involves extensive standing walking and occasional lifting Corrected vision and hearing to normal range Working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours Some exposure to communicable diseases or body fluids Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects Work Environment and Culture We offer a hybrid work model, combining remote work with time in our office.
