We're passionate about building a world-class data platform that sets the standard for innovation and excellence in the entertainment industry. **Focus Areas within arenaflex's Data Platform** ### Information Base Access Stage The Information Base Access Stage team builds and operates a flexible query interface that works with data reflections to operate at sub-millisecond latencies while enabling Netflix microservices to more easily store, consume, and manage their data. This team plays a critical role in empowering Netflix microservices to meet their growing and evolving data needs. This team is passionate about distributed data systems technology and is active in the open-source community. We believe in working with what we own and are a small team responsible for business-critical systems. We're committed to a culture of feedback and design. ### Information Stage Foundation The Information Stage Foundation team serves as a platform for our own data platforms. Our common framework and tooling enable arenaflex to rapidly enhance on providing cutting-edge data and analytics platforms to the rest of the organization without building custom platforms for each new framework. To do this, we build high-impact frameworks, control, and deployment systems that are calibrated for the needs of running our data platforms at scale; many of our tools and frameworks are written in Python, making this an excellent team to consider if you enjoy working in multiple languages. ### Big Data Figure Responsible for providing the cloud-native stage for distributed data processing at arenaflex. This team is critical to batch data processing in Data Stage. It offers support for Flash, to ETL data into the Petabytes-scale data warehouse and access that data using Flash and Voila/TrinoDB. It also provides sub-second latency to a specific class of queries using Druid. We're looking for exceptional talent with experience in Flash, Presto/Trino, Druid, Iceberg, and distributed database frameworks in general. Jobs in this team include tackling very fascinating and challenging issues of working with data at scale, building features and performance improvements, and working closely with open-source communities to shape the projects and make contributions. ### Big Data Arrangement Offers the stage for planning, organizing, and executing large data jobs and workflows in a self-serve way. These stages incorporate basic services that have all ETL and ML responsibilities running on Big Data Frameworks at arenaflex. These fully distributed frameworks are continually evolving for arenaflex scale with best-in-class technology.
