Our commitment to our employees is evident in everything we do, from our state-of-the-art facilities to our comprehensive training programs. **Work Overview and Responsibilities** As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for: * Providing numerical modeling and analysis services to support critical business, operational, and strategic decision-making * Participating in supporting project teams in value-added activities that create feasible solutions for complex business issues * Investigating new business opportunities and driving improvement in business decisions * Developing methodologies and strategies to define and tackle management issues through quantitative analysis and insightful models using metrics, AI, forecasting procedures, and organized programming languages * Identifying, investigating, or solving large complex issues using big data and insights, forecasting, and AI principles * Utilizing understanding of the business cycle to identify and implement metrics, forecasting, and AI solutions that will result in significant bottom-line contributions * Building and developing metrics, forecasting, and AI model applications, and providing client support using data research information * Participating in model design, model, and model development for multiple projects that occur simultaneously, and collaborating with product delivery teams * Raising concerns when the scope of investigation may not align with the time available and can select a suitable scope of investigation to conduct, adjusting return on investment to time available * Planning scientific approach/fostering hypotheses to test * Identifying the limitations of investigation (what it can and cannot be used for) * Expecting to work group questions to data and approach * Identifying solution quality risks and on-time risks * Understanding the business value, cycle, and expectations prior to focusing on the selection of a technical solution * Grasping the intuition behind the numbers (e.g., does it make sense?) * Providing ongoing analytical services to client associations * Conveying results to management and clients * Contributing deck content and assembling the story for the deck with direction to summarize findings * Creating and conveying presentations aligned with AI standards * Communicating in a manner suitable for the work group and their level +1 * Staying informed about the latest scientific methods and research in the metrics, forecasting, AI, and analysis fields **Requirements** * Postgraduate education (PhD or ABD) * Insights or other related quantitative discipline, including quantitative analysis and use of advanced statistical methods * Coursework or work experience with metrics or potentially forecasting methods * Coursework or work experience in model prototyping through the use of statistical packages (SAS or SPSS, Minitab, or potentially BI tools) * Coursework or work experience with C, C++, Java, R, Python, or other organized programming language * Excellent business, technical, verbal/written communication, presentation, and sales abilities. Versatility to changing business climate * Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with clients * Proficient with MS Office * Successful completion of interview expected to meet work capabilities * Solid, reliable participation is a fundamental capability of the position * Should be lawfully authorized to work in the US for any business without sponsorship **Preferred Qualifications** * Minor in software engineering, as well as formal high-level software engineering coursework * 2+ years of professional experience in the logical field * 1+ years of aircraft business experience * 1+ years of planning and programming/coding data structures for large-scale computer models * Experience with Julia programming language * Knowledge of arenaflex/industry data sources * Organized programming for large-scale computer models * Demonstrated ability to create business value **Join our team at arenaflex and be part of a transformative journey that will change the world.** Apply Job!
