As a key member of our Information Science group, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business growth, improve customer experiences, and inform strategic decisions. If you're a data-driven problem solver with a passion for innovation, we want to hear from you! **Key Responsibilities** * Support the streaming business with AI and predictive modeling focused on understanding and forecasting user behavior, including churn, upgrade/downgrade, cost responsiveness, customer segmentation, survival analysis, A/B testing, and causal inference. * Create and implement innovative AI strategies to address key business questions while identifying new areas to explore. * Drive experimentation to assess the impact of your models and inform business decisions. * Collaborate closely with colleagues across the organization to identify and capitalize on opportunities. * Present your findings and recommendations to senior leaders. * Work with other data teams to improve platform capabilities around data modeling, data representation, experimentation, and data engineering. **Essential Capabilities** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Science, Physics, Econometrics, or Statistics. * 3+ years of experience designing, building, and evaluating effective AI solutions. * Strong coding experience in one or more data programming languages like Python/R, with additional experience in scientific libraries like NumPy, Pandas, or similar libraries. * Proficiency in analyzing data and creating ML models using Python (with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, scikit-learn, etc.). * Strong foundation in statistical modeling: regression, clustering, time series estimation, causal inference, and other methods. * Experience creating flexible numerical models and solving complex quantitative problems that can be understood by non-technical stakeholders. * Ability to extract insights and recommendations from data to inform model development and business decisions. * Willingness to collaborate with other data researchers, data analysts, and key stakeholders. * Strong understanding of SQL. **Preferred Capabilities** * Postgraduate education in a quantitative field. * Excellent analytical skills, with a high level of proficiency in data analysis. * Demonstrated ability to choose the right statistical tools given a data analysis problem. * Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment with shifting needs. * Strong communication skills, both technical and non-technical. * Ability to focus on multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines. * Experience with data platforms and applications like Databricks, Jupyter, Snowflake, Wind current, and GitHub. * Experience with designing and analyzing A/B testing and other experimentation types. * Experience thinking critically to interpret market and customer data, ideally about a subscription-based service. * Experience with distributed data technologies (Hive, Flume). * Experience with NLP and NN models. **What We Offer** * Competitive salary and benefits package. * Opportunity to work with a talented and diverse team of innovators. * Collaborative and dynamic work environment. * Professional development and growth opportunities. * Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options. * Access to cutting-edge technologies and tools. * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance. **How to Apply** If you're a motivated and talented Data Scientist looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
