Experienced Full Stack Data Entry Specialist – Remote Alternate Investments Operations and Customer Service

Job Overview The Data Entry Specialist will play a critical role in our Alternate Investments operations, responsible for performing daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer tasks. As a key member of our team, you will be accountable for processing trade deal purchases, identifying and addressing breaks between blithequark and fund companies or transfer agents, and ensuring seamless execution of corporate activity activities. Key Responsibilities Process trade deal purchases in customer profiles, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail Identify and address breaks recognized between blithequark and fund companies or transfer agents, providing timely resolutions Execute corporate activity activities, including settling and reconciling transactions, and processing returns activity Analyze complex and escalated issues, performing testing and validation of new technology enhancements and provider changes Collaborate with Retail and Institutional Service Teams, utilizing email, phone, Slack, Outlook, and Salesforce to ensure exceptional customer service Embodiment of blithequark's values in daily interactions with fund companies, transfer agents, counterparties, and other external business partners Duties Analysis The Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for reviewing subscription deals or transfer requests, client/advisor amount exceptions, and regulatory commitments. You will also reconcile business, dividend, and transactions breaks, and review and analyze correct tax coding and corrections of tax coding errors. Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving Internal/External system improvements or issues, providing root cause analysis and recommendations for resolution Remediating transfer issues with fund companies or counterparties, ensuring prompt and accurate completion of client investing and dividend requests Providing follow-up on alternative investment moves to expedite customer requests or remediate outstanding issues Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will possess: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and customer service skills, with ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience in data entry, operations, or customer service, preferably in the financial services industry Knowledge of regulatory commitments, such as 2340 and 15C3-3 Experience with technology enhancements and provider changes, with ability to test and validate new systems Strong understanding of tax coding and corrections, with ability to analyze and resolve complex issues Skills and Competencies The successful candidate will possess: Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems and technologies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex issues and provide timely resolutions Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong focus on attention to detail and accuracy Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
