Our company culture values collaboration, creativity, and continuous learning, and we are always looking for talented individuals who share these values. **Job Responsibilities** As a Data Analyst at blithequark, you will be responsible for: * Working with large, messy, disparate datasets and performing ad-hoc analyses to inform business decisions * Creating ETLs or scripts that pull data from multiple sources and centralize it in a single table * Developing data visualizations to display and quantify the impact of changes and business challenges * Engaging with team members and cross-functional groups on a regular basis to establish credibility and build relationships * Analyzing stakeholder needs and working with them to share relevant information, including partnering with Operations, Finance, and Product groups on data accuracy, completeness, and latency across multiple operations and systems * Leveraging scripting languages (Python preferred) to automate tasks for reporting (screenshots, metrics prioritization, and outlier recognition) * Documenting your approaches and sharing your expertise with colleagues, as well as mentoring them as you become a Subject Matter Expert **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, computer science, or engineering) * Excellent SQL skills, with the ability to govern data from multiple tables while maintaining data integrity (2-4 years of experience) * Creativity with a user experience basis to develop impactful Tableau dashboards (1-2 years of experience) * Business operations fluency, with the ability to recognize and root out business problems (supply chain background with transportation experience a plus) * Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally **Preferred Qualifications** * Advanced experience with SQL and Tableau * Experience with e-commerce operations or parcel service operations * Experience with Python or other scripting languages * Experience with data manipulation tools, including Knime, Alteryx, R, Tableau Prep, etc. **Skills and Competencies** * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to extract insights from large datasets * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels * Strong technical skills, including proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and scripting languages (Python preferred) * Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team * Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain data integrity * Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and approaches **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
