You should have excellent written communication skills, as you'll be communicating with customers primarily through chat. You should be able to troubleshoot customer issues effectively and provide solutions that meet their needs. Resolving customer complaints and concerns with empathy and patience : At times, you'll come across customers who are dissatisfied or upset with the service they received. Your job is to listen to their concerns with empathy and patience, and work towards resolving their complaints to the best of your abilities. Following up with customers to ensure their issues have been resolved : As a chat representative, you should always strive to provide excellent customer service. Following up with customers after resolving their issues is a great way to show that you care about their experience. Documenting customer interactions and feedback accurately in our client's system : Keeping accurate records of customer interactions is an essential part of your job. You'll need to document customer issues, complaints, and feedback in our client's system to ensure that they are resolved quickly and efficiently. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications: Excellent written communication skills : As a chat representative, you'll primarily be communicating with customers through chat. Therefore, you should have excellent written communication skills, with the ability to convey information in a clear and concise manner. Ability to multitask and work under pressure : You should be able to handle multiple customer chats simultaneously while ensuring that you respond to each customer promptly and professionally. You should also be able to work under pressure and meet customer service targets. Flexibility to work on a part-time basis : This is a part-time position, with flexible scheduling options available.
